Senior Cat food, 3 yrd old cat loves to sneak

Until this past year, I always fed my cats dry cat food. Cody is now 13 1/2 and thought he might benefit from some senior canned food. He loves it. He only gets about 1/3 of a can a day, along with the dry, but one of my twin 3 yr old felines decided that was a very tasty snack. The other won't touch it.

Should I let her have a taste or could there be some danger to her? I think I may have to buy some more food (canned) that is not just for seniors, but would like any advice.

Thanks,
~~Diane

If the ol' guy wants canned, give it to him. It's actually better for his urinary tract health because of the water content.

All my previous cats ate nothing but canned and all lived long and healthy lives.

IF your younger cat eats nothing but senior canned food, it's probably a little low in protein for a younger cat, but eating some of it won't hurt.
