Canada.com has a story on-line. It does acknowledge the Cambridge "pit bull", but also tells the "eaten alive" story. Tim "Mr. Mis-information" Dack is quoted quite abit.
There is a sound-off, so post a few comments.

Why let facts get in the way of a good story?

Doesn't someone have stats from Winnipeg proving "Dack the quack" is full of unrotted compost ?

There is also a sound-off on: McGuinty strives to do better

Bryant is mentioned:
"
Bryant has been earning his pay, baring his teeth at dangerous dog-owners with Canada's first provincial ban on pit bulls, as well as introducing fixed election dates and opening the door to electoral reform in Ontario.

I'm sorry, was that an article, or a press release issued by the liberals??

I mean, the BYOB law was a GOOD thing? I'm sure there are those who like it, but I haven't heard anyone who didn't call it a crock! I didn't even read the full article, but what I did read read like a liberal PR item. I guess the reporter was the only person who didn't laugh when the Liberal graded thier own papers and gave themselves a B.

the Liberal graded thier own papers and gave themselves a B.

What other letter could they grade themselves with ? BSer starts with a "B" doesn't it ? And no "living" politician can fire it like Dalton.

Yep. You also can't spell BAN without the letter 'B.' Without bans, they got nothing.

Hey. It's kinda like Sesame Street:

"This Government has been brought to you by the letter B."
( I can hear that Count puppet in the background "1 PIIIT BULL, 2 PIIIT BULLS, 3 piiiitt bulls.......")

Her is a post off Canada.com, I thought is was good becuse this guy is a lawyer like bryant. It's good to know we are not alone on how we feel about him.
Name: Stan
Occupation: Lawyer
Location: Ontario

I am a lawyer and Michael Bryant is a real laughing stock amongst many of my collegues. He is an embarrassment to us all who practice law. He does not get any facts before he speaks,he is not reputable. He is easily duped as seen on City tv, a reporter made him look like a fool. Bryant should never have been given the chance to practice law. Bryant and McGuinty and the rest of the liberals make us true law practioners look like jokes. Thanks Bryant for making us all look bad, do us all a favour and resign Please!!

Sorry, I don't know exactly how to post this (will try to link directly to it in a few minutes), but I wanted to get this up here before I forgot.

Edited to add the link to the quote:

Certain people secretly made ALOT of money in Winnipeg under the guise of the 'pit bull' ban. Selling trained, well mannered dogs( of all breeds) to corporations for research can equal big bucks.

It is a really clever way around the "animal research act", and a great way to sway favor from corporations.

Bryant made sure to add a similar clause in Ontario's proposed law. I'm guessing that McGuinty isn't planning on sharing the profit they make with taxpayers.

Back to Ontario Liberals strive to do better

Perhaps Brytler realises that he won't have much of a practice as a lawyer after his term as AG is up, now that most people realise just how bad a lawyer he is, so he is hoping to start a new business with his buddy, McGintler, selling helpless innocent animals to Proctor and Gamble and other barbaric companies and research labs. He's paving the way and trying to make some connections now while people are still answering his calls.

It's true and this is why Bill 132 must be stopped.

“The City sold these poor animals to the University for $30––that’s $120 less than what a resident would pay. The University, which held these dogs only for a few days, then sold them to researchers for $175.” http://www.cruelscience.ca/news-umanitoba.htm

Mr. Bryant's Winnipeg expert Tim Dack's animal services agency sold them to the university in the first place. It is not documented that he ever received kick backs but knowing the type of scum he is you never know. It is highly likely though that he is a Liberal.

"Tim Dack, who heads the Animal Services Agency, said some of the dogs selected for euthanasia or research instead of adoption are leery of strangers or growl and act aggressive. "

Sounds like they had every reason to be leery of you Dack. This man is the biggest fool I heard in all of 2004, make that the second. The man who introduced him in the legislature was the biggest.

This cannot be allowed to happen here. If anyone deserves to be sent to a lab it's Michael Bryant. Maybe it could finally lead to a cure for stupidity and arrogance. It's the only time I would ever support animal testing.
