Out of the blue my little beagle, started eating her food later. I used to put her food down and she was scarf it down like if I was going to take the food away from her. One day, she runs for it, smells it and runs away. At first I thought she was ill but about an hour or two later, she went to eat her food. She does that all the time now.

Also, it's my first puppy but is it normal that when she is really cold she just lays on the snow like she is ill?? BUT she still lays there eating snow or ice. Crazy doggy!!!

AND!!! I got her to roll over!!! so now she knows how to sit..give her paws...lay down...jump...and now roll over...any other tricks I should teach her??

I am teaching her to drop stuff from her mouth and the "stay" command works sometimes..

In order to keep your dog from becoming picky or fussy, you should put her food down, give her 10 minutes to eat it, then take it up until next mealtime.

As for lying in the snow - most short haired dogs don't care for this. Mine certainly doesn't!

How old is this puppy?
