These are the tentative dates and locations:

January 24th & 27th in Toronto. Febuary 2 & 3 on the road (Barrie & Brantford).

Gee, I wonder why they picked Brantford?

Excuse my ignorance , I have had no interest in political BS until now .
Does this mean the 3rd reading will be after the meetings ?

Yes.

I think if the Committee doesn't unanimously agree to pass the bill, it goes to another committee (of the house) and then on to 3rd reading.

I hope your right Dukieboy, I'm a little distrustfull of this standing commity, since it was bryants idea, and he has no intentions of letting this bill die. The Liberal controled commity could do just what Bryant did, listen to those who agree, and egnore the rest. Then when the court chalenges attack the bill, the liberals can say they listend to ALL the facts from both side and decided the ban was the only way to go. I can't see any way Bryant will let this commity go against the bill, he may be an idiot, but I think he allready knows what the outcome of the standing commity will be.
I realy, realy hope I'm wrong on this one.

I belive you are correct in thinking that the committee outcome is predetermined by the villiage idiot but sometimes the opposition can use stratagies to delay the committees etc. Im not waell versed enough to know what they might be but I think it can be done and I think the longer we delay the better, I sure don't want to put a muzzle in my doggys xmas stocking. At this stage we need to give the oppoistion members who are sitting on the comittee all the support we can. I know in many cases though theyre on our side they feel that there are more important issues to be dealt with. Only public oppinion can change that!
