My friends dog, a beagle cross, has been vomiting intermittently for the last 4 days. The vomit is frothy and white, no food. Occasionaly there is a cough or retch. Her activity level and eating habits are normal and she is regular as clockwork. I think she must have eaten something that she cannot pass and it is sitting in her stomach. Any suggestions?

yup a simple suggestion. Please take the dog to the vet.

My gosh, take that dog to the vet asap. I had a beagle and they will eat almost anything (they are so nosy and curious!!) and it can get them into trouble. Mine was never poisoned but it was not for lack of trying!! But that vomiting sounds serious!!

Went to Vet today. They had to do a barium series xrays. Guess what, the dog ate the skin off her tennis ball and it was just floating in her stomach! When they brought the dog home after the vet she passed it in her stool. Whew guess my baby won't be getting any tennis balls!
