A blister or carpet burn on my cat??

When I came home today, I saw something pink on my cats leg. I picked her up and she had the oddest mark. It's on both legs, but only really bad one on the right one. I don't see how it could be a carpet burn(though it looks like it) because it's not a part she walks on. She's 10 years old...so I don't know what to expect. I'm very concerned and I don't like not knowing what it is. You think it's something serious? Here's what it looks like.

No idea, but does it seem painful for her? My suggestion is to have the vet take a look. It would bother me too to not know what it is or what caused it.

No, it doesn't seem to hurt her at all. I think I probably will take her to the vet...

Is it a place that she can reach to lick? Maybe she's been compulsively licking herself in that spot? :confused:
