I've been on the website several times today, and I still haven't seen anything about it. I'm not even sure he was actually on.

I have been checking in on both CNN channels on bell all morning and nothing yet. Hopefully he got bumped off, due to factual new's that matters instead of more fiction from bryant. I visited a few american pit bull site's and they were none to pleased about this crackpot stirring up trouble south of the border, so you can bet CNN got an earfull from them as well.

Off to the right of the main CNN Web page there is a spot that says Legislation would ban pit bulls in Ontario , and a pic of a white pit and a lady.
Its in video form and with CNN you have to have a paid access pass to see there videos. Anyone have one of those passes?

You can sign up for a 14 day trial membership without paying. I can't from work. Anyone? Anyone?

Sorry. Didn't know you needed one. I won't sign up for any "trials" that need a credit card.

And mine is maxed out.

That's the technique I used for years to keep me from using it! ;)

Bryant is an a**hole, and I can not think of one person who would not be over-joyed should he have been taken out by a car (or Ranger...lol). He can't get enough people in Ontario to sign his stupid petition, and since George Bush was just up here the other day, maybe he feel Americans have time to care about such trivial matters. Like they don't have enough on thier plates already, that Canada's AG needs to fill their heads with more garbage. How did he get to be in the position he's in anyway????? :yuck:

I have a feeling Bryants interview, since it was taped, will be a filler...they might have had something more important to air.
Or,although doubtful, they might have reacted negative to e-mails recieved...
Maybe they saw him for the pompous, smug and ignorant man he is :thumbs up
I know one thing for certain, the animal-killing Liberals(foxes, coons, birds, dogs, cats)will never get our,or any of our friends vote ever again

Liberals will not be getting votes from animal lovers or film production or the industries affected by it so he has pretty well alienated himself from a lot of people and industries. I will certainly never vote liberal again I would rather vote communist than give them my vote

Hey,

I went ahead with the 14-day trial to see the video. (By the way, I have a new computer and the video still doesn't stream from the server very well so the superpass is a pretty good rip-off).

I’m trying to get permission to post someone’s transcript of the show, so in the meantime, here are my observations…

The segment is only a few minutes long, thankfully, and it starts off with the CNN reporter Ali talking to Natalie and her pit bull, (she is from Advocates for the Underdog). The reporter is your typical joe public when it comes to dogs; he has preconceptions, and asks her about them - but she answers him quite efficiently.

The story then shows clips of muttonhead Bryant spouting his breed apart BS, and as if he has been chosen by the Lord to be the final authority on the subject.

The reporter goes to the THS, comments on a barking pit, then conveniently ends up in the home of a girl who was bitten by "her neighbour's pit bull" (apparently). The girl says that pits hould be banned because they were bred to fight, and the segment ends on the words of the girl's dad:

"Why have them? Why do we need to have dogs that are bred to be vicious fighting animals in a populated area?"

Nice way to leave a nasty, lingering impression at the end, but other than that it was not as bad as I feared. Bryant did his damage, but fortunately did not get more coverage. The reporter did not really do a good job on the story, it was very shallow, surface-skimming material. I guess he can keep his job at CNN's Money show.

I didn’t see the clip on CNN this whole morning so hopefully this junk did not hit the airwaves…
