Today's show is about heroes..... A lady saved a child from a pit bull attack.

Granted this lady IS a hero for saving this child... but I just get so peeved when I see the horrible things about these dogs... why can't they just say she save him from a dog attack???

I haven't gotten through all of them, but there's quite the heated debate going on the message boards!

Oprah needs to get *Cesar Millan* The Dog Whisperer, on her show to educate her and the rest of north america about dogs, This guy has an absolutly brilliant show on the national geographic channel, He deals with ALL breeds of dogs. He goes into a persons home, they explain the behavior problem with the dog, He then explains what THEY are doing wrong to cause the problem, he rehabilitates unbalanced dogs and helps "re-train" their owners to better understand how to see the world through the eyes of a dog. I have been watching the show for a few weeks now and finely got to see his pack, he has 37 dogs in his compound of many breeds, the majority of them are pit bulls. They all had severe behavior problems, and most where scheduled for death, They are now happy freindly normal dogs. I'm not sure if it is avalible here in canada yet, but if it is it is a must see show for dog lovers, and haters.(like Bryant)

Well I saw Cesar Millan on Inside Edition. And to be honest I really wasn't impressed with something he did. They showed all the dogs.He went up to one,a GSD mix,he squeezed down on the dogs back and the dog yelped and cowered down.To me,that was wrong. And my daughter even thought the same thing. And to be honest, the dogs did actually look like they were afraid of him.Sorry, but that's just what I picked up on it.

I have only seen the well edited T.V version of his show, and you are probably rite, he has faults mona_b, but he does spinn a positive reflection of all dogs no matter what there problem is, and puts the resonsobility of the dog's behavor on the owner, In a way the general plublic can see, and not blame spacific breeds for problems caused by owners, he instead shows the owner's how they helped the dog become the way it is now, and shows them how to correct the problem. There is probably a lot of smoke and mirrors in his show and I most likely would not be impessed with him myself if I saw what you saw. But for now his show is pro dog, something we need in Ontario rite now.

Is he the one that takes dogs with severe behavioural problems and turns them around? I'm not necessarily defending him, but I'm wondering if what you saw was a dog that had severe issues that required severe measures? Just playing devil's advocate as I have never seen him before, and only heard stories (if he's the one I'm thinking of).
