Huge enclosed grassy park- the best one in Montreal. $10/year fee (supposed to be given in good faith) and any city dog license. Any well mannered doggies allowed in for a trial visit before paying. Cold, clean water fountain with bowl. Maintained by members.

A very large fenced in area complimented with well marked nature trails. Dogs must be up to date on rabies shots and must have a valid license from their city of residence.

The most beautiful dog park in town--it may not be 'official' but the City of Monreal treats it like it is--dog-level fountains, extra garbages for poop.

A small remote place, not many people go, great for training off leash in a fenced area.

I thought I would add this one, although it is not particuarly enjoyable. Some dogs are not trained and can be aggressive with smaller dogs.
Comments2:It's beside the Lachine Canal, nice setting, quiet.

The city is in the process of enlarging the park (almost doubling the size) as well as putting in grass as of August 12, 2009.

People are nice and friendly what I like about this park is that they always keep an on their dog...park is small...there is three sections in the park...you can even go in the Angrignon park in back of the dog park where there is a pond and wooded area, this part of the park is not all fenced in but it's pretty big...

The dog area is in Parc des Royaux (Royals)
It was formerly Parc de Rouen. The park was renamed because it is on the site of the old Baseball stadium - Delorimier Downs- where Jackie Robinson and the Montreal Royals played.

This is a friendly neighborhood park where people are quite cooperative and pay close attention to their pets. In the summer it's grassy, in winter flattened snow is usually the surface. The park is lit at each end by large spotlights. There are picnic tables and a couple of long benches. At the moment there is one double gated entrance and we hope to have another added at the other end.

Families come and enjoy the adjacent facilities, such as the skate park, the swings and slide and jungle gym as well as the basketball court.
