the gate wide open when entering, allowing dogs to escape into the

Comments3 - As this area serves as a drainage field for water run-off,
it is often very wet and muddy. Your dog will automatically need
a bath after. Best to go in winter when it is frozen.
Lachine -
Parc de Lachine located at 30e Avenue et Victoria in Lachine,

This park is quite small, long and very narrow at one end, better for smaller dogs. Larger dogs chasing or running fast are at risk of collisions with benches, hedges and fences as well as eachother at the narrow end of the park.

E.)

The doggies
get used to it quickly. Water fountain with a bowl,
quite a few benches and picnic tables. The park needs a bit of
maintenance but nothing that affects doggies... The best thing
about this park is that there are some not so bright pidgeons that
keep coming in which provides excellent entertainment for hunter

Pointe
Claire - Terracotta Park - Donegani & Terracotta. Open 7am
until 10pm, fenced, tables, parking, poop bag dispenser. Comments:
Instead of grass, the base of the park is made of smooth, rounded
stones, which is great because it tires your dog out more than just
grass. There is a ring of grass around the fence to make running a
bit easier. It even has a dog-height water fountain!! In other words,
simply fantastic.

Parc Le Ber - address: Avenue Ash
and Rue Dick-Irvin. Hours: 7 AM - 11PM
fenced: yes, tables: yes , benches: yes , parking: yes
Comments: Small fenced enclosure in corner of soccer field. Big enough to throw
ball for dog etc. Grass covered.
Comments 2: Seeing this park is in a wide open area, and because of
the park attached, it would be great to have some type of shelter
from the rain and wind which is a big factor. Besides that it is
a very well maintained dog park.
Thank you city workers for keeping it clean and the grass groomed
regularly in the summer.
Comments 3: I would like to mention that ever since there has been
work being done beside the dog park on the football field, they've
installed a water fountain back in May of 2006, but up to now
they havent supplied any water source. The city last year placed
a tap on the fire hydrant just in front of the park which we can
use for our dog, now they removed it. So we have no water source
whatsoever for the dogs. We have to carry 2 litre bottles with us
when we visit on a daily basis.
