Dog
breed description
|
This breed was developed
by a German tax collector, Ludwig Dobermann, to act a deterrent against
thieves and muggers, as well as aggrieved taxpayers. He used a variety
of dogs including the German Shepherd, Rottweiller, German Pinscher,
and Manchester Terrier. The Doberman is energetic, watchful, determined,
alter, fearless, loyal and obedient. The Doberman excels in obedience
and is a born guard dog. It is not unusual for a two-month old puppy
to growl and bare is teeth in a display of domination.
